About the Author
John Astin lives in northern California with his wife and daughter. Along with his work as a scientist studying the role of awareness practices in fostering health and well-being, John is presently serving as Executive Director of the newly formed Baumann Institute, a 501(c)(3) educational and research corporation dedicated to the experiential and scientific investigation of the nature of awareness and its role in the alleviation of human suffering.
